AboveGEM was founded by a group of talented Silicon Valley engineers and driven entrepreneurs. After many years of success working at top ranked software companies, we decided to provide our solutions to address the needs of the direct selling industry. As in many traditional industries, the direct selling industry has not yet taken full advantage of the best of what the current technology has to offer. The direct-selling software platforms offered in the market only addressed issues in one or two specific areas; none of them was able to align business, technology, and people together to offer an integrated solution in a way that the direct selling industry needs.

With a solid educational background in engineering and business, along with our persistence and determination, our team created the solution that is tailored to meet the unique demands of the direct selling industry. Today AboveGEM provides the foundation for direct selling business operations in more than 35 countries. Our offices are located in Silicon Valley, California and Shanghai, China. In 2010, Organo Gold, a direct selling company with approximately 300,000 distributors over 7 countries, was dissatisfied with their existing platform provided by one of the major direct selling software companies.
